Walnut Room show last night in Denver

Wow. We had such a great time last night... Thanks everyone for coming to our show! It was a packed house... It was a full house on stage too with me, Jess, Wes, Casey, Adam and Carl. Plus, Tim McCanna joined us on accordion and Seth Donovan joined us as 2nd cello for a bunch of songs. It felt really, really good on stage and in the room.

We played most of the songs from Beautiful Empty and even snuck in some songs that will be showing up on future records as well. Mark Linkous (of the band Sparklehorse) passed away last weekend. His writing and producing really influenced how my own... so we decided to do a cover of his song named "Saturday"... as a tribute.

We recorded the show, and will be giving away free mp3's of songs from last night to people on our email list and facebook fan page. If you want to, you can join BOTH by scrolling down to the bottom of this page.

It was Jess' birthday too, so we all sang her happy birthday... with a toast, finger snaps and my best impersonation of Percy Sledge. Dan Craig Band and The West tore it up too.

AND Love Hope Strength signed up 20+ potential bone marrow donors!
