if I ever have children I want them to be like you
cause I get so fucked up I really don't know what to do
I'm the kind of model, you don't want to follow

I read a lot of books but they make me want to close my eyes
it's getting to the point that I'm thinking that the truth is a lie
so full of sorrow, mostly feeling hollow

my full throttle followed me down
down to the bottom
following cynicism

drama plays the foil
in my my mortal coil I'm spoiling
left outside to toil
in the sun and boil
work the soil like a donkey

If I was the one to find you in the lost and found
you could be the one who finally didn't sleep around
I'm not romantic, I'm mostly just frantic
