Chicago, Madison, Spring Green > AMAZING

The weather turned... beautiful. A hint of fall in the air. Like summer left the room to get another beer and Autumn quietly walked in and sat down by the door.

And then, we had four amazing days in a row.

First, we played Chicago for the first time at Schubas to an awesome crowd. Love that place! Then we had a day off in Chicago to just wander around the neighborhoods, find some good food to eat and soak in the vibe. That was amazing. Then we drove to Madison and recorded a Studio M session with the fine folks at WMMM. That was a great time... It's like Studio C from KBCO, only with interview Q's and A's between songs. Then we drove out of Madison to Spring Green, Wisconsin, which was one of the most gorgeous drives I've been on in a looooong time. Then, we played a beautiful, inspiring, rustic, one-of-a-kind show at a place called Shitty Barn Sessions, on the edge of a field in Spring Green. That entire experience deserves its own blog entry, but suffice to say it was a completely magical night of music and song and community and new friends. Then we woke up in Spring Green village after staying the night in a beautiful big old house (with new friends from the barn). Strong coffee, a great breakfast, a bicycle ride tour around town and then a drive out to see Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin estate -- privately guided by another new friend who told us some of the history behind that lovely landscape and architecture.

Umm... wow.

Now I'm in the back of the van, typing this out. We're almost to Iowa City to play another show, make more new friends and see what we can see...

Yes, touring is exhausting and hard work. But sometimes things open up and you can just breathe a little and realize how completely lucky we are to be doing this. And say thank you.

Following my exploration, thousands of persons on our planet receive the home loans from well known creditors. So, there is a good chance to get a credit loan in every country.

My trip to visit friends in Madison unexpectedly took me to your show at Shitty Barn Sessions. Great venue. Great music. Great people. The experience was all the things you said: beautiful, inspiring, rustic, magical. Thanks for a great night. (And how have I never thought to get a tour of Taliesin from Dan??!?!)
