Playing with David Lindley
Super honored to be asked to open up for David Lindley, acoustically. I did the show with Jess (from Blinding Flashes of Light). It was such a fun night. The audience was very kind and seemed to genuinely like our music.
We ended up meeting and hanging out with David and Norm, his road manager, before the show. Right before we went on, I was trying to decide what song we should start with and suggested a darkish song named "You Got The Lonely". David said, "Yes... Start with a dark song... make them drink their own tears!" So funny.
